WARNINGS: angst, mention of death and sad ending (if you squint enough)
Once, their lives had been intertwined like the roots of an old tree, growing together. From the time they were children, she and Oscar had been inseparable, theyâd always share everythingâschool days that are filled with laughter, birthday parties that are often celebrated together and marked by chaotic games, playing by the streets under the bright sun during the summer and countless sleepovers in a tent by the backyard, where they would both whisper secrets under the starlit skies. Those were the golden years, spent building forts out of blankets and dreaming of grand adventures. They are each otherâs constantâconstant presence amidst the ebb and flow of growing up.
It was one autumn afternoon, as they are both sat beneath the sprawling oak tree in Oscarâs backyard, he looked at her with wide eyes that are filled with excitement.
âIâm going to be a race car driver,â he said, as his voice are laced with a mix of determination and excitement. She grinned, heart swelling with pride, âIâm going to be an artist!â She exclaimed, voice full of hopeful ambition.
They promisedâpinky promised, a promise that holds the highest regard of promises, that no matter where their dreams take them, they would always find a way back to each other, in this spot beneath the oak tree, and right in this moment.
But as the years passed by, their lives began to diverge. Oscarâs path took him into the fast paced world of racing, while she decided to move and pursue her studies in another country. She immersed herself in the world of art, and the moment she graduated, she began to work tirelessly in her own studio. Their lives, once so closely knit, started to drift apart. Phone calls became less frequent, messages less personal. Soon, they found themselves swallowed by their own ambitions, those promises that were made under the oak tree are slowly becoming a distant memories.
Today, she was back in town for a brief visit, her heart unexpectedly drawn to the familiar Brighton streetsâa familiar yet distant street and an unspoken hope that maybe, just maybe, things could feel like they once did. The street was much quieter now than the last time she remembered, lined with the same old trees and houses, but the sense of nostalgia was evident. She could still hear the echoes of the shared laughter and see the faint traces of their carefree childhood days, making her smile to herself.
Mrs. Lee, a kind old lady that had been their neighbor for almost forever, was still around. She had managed to stop by for a chat, and she was happy that Mrs. Lee could still remember her despite being gone for too long. Mrs. Lee had told her that Oscar was in town, having just finished a successful race season and dropped by earlier at Mrs. Leeâs house to say hello.
The idea of running into him was both exciting and nerve-wracking for her, she didnât know if sheâs ready to face the man who was once her closest friend, that is now a celebrated figure. Despite of losing contact with each other, she never failed to support Oscar. When she got the time, she would tune in and watch Oscarâs race.
As she walked past the old houses, she saw Nicole, talking to someone outside a small cafĂŠ, the kind where she and Oscar used to grab ice cream after school. Her heart skipped a beat, hesitated for a moment, unsure if she should approach her or just quietly walk away. The fear of Nicole no longer know or recognize her lingers, since it has been years since she left Australia.
But as if sensing her presence, Nicole turned her head and saw her. Nicoleâs eyes widened in surprise, and a genuine, warm smile spread across her face. She quickly said her goodbyes to the one sheâs talking and immediately rushed to her from across the street, where she were stood.
âOh my goodness, y/n? Is that really you?â Her voice was filled with a mix of disbelief anf happiness. She nodded, trying to steady her nerves. âHi, Nicole. Yes, itâs me, little olâ y/n. Itâs been a long time.â
Nicole pulled you into a tight hug, her embrace as familiar as ever. âIt really has, darling. You look great! What brings you back here?â She broke the hug and looked at her softly.
âOh, you know, Iâm just visiting the house and the folks,â she said, her voice slightly cracking. âAnd thought Iâd walk around and see how things have changed.â Without replying, Nicole hugged her again.
âHave you and Oscar already seen each other? Iâm sure he would be thrilled to see you! Heâs just inside the cafĂŠ grabbing a few drinks.â She smiled in excitement. âNot yet, I just got here and dropped by at Mrs. Lee for a chat.â
âCome on then!â Nicole gently guided you towards the cafĂŠ, and as she got closer to the establishment, she can see the familiar figure of Oscar.
The nerve had began settling in, she doesnât know how Oscar would react to seeing her again after so many years. They had lost contact and sheâs not sure if Oscar even remembers her.
âLook who I bumped into!â She said excitedly as she approached Oscar, with her trailing right after Nicole. Oscarâs eyes went wide, causing her to smile and shyly wave at him.
ây/n?â He quickly brushed off his shocked reaction and had been quickly replaced by a smile. âHey, Oscar. Been a long time, huh.â
Oscar rushed towards you, engulfing you in hug. A hug that felt like home. âWay too long.â He responded while still hugging you. âI didnât expect that youâll be back in Australia.â
She chuckled, âwell, here I am. In the flesh.â
ây/n, why donât you come over for dinner?â Oscar just looked at you, hopefully. âYeah, sure. I would love to.â Nicole cheered excitedly.
The dinner at the Piastris went very well, it is nice to see them again, and she was surprised how Oscarâs sisters had grown so muchâto which they were happy to see her again, and Chris was glad as well that sheâs back in Australia. Right after dinner, Oscar had invited you by the backyard. She had followed him and realized that they were heading to the oak tree where they used to sit and talk about everything.
âI canât believe that this treeâs still here. Wow.â She said in amazement. âYeah. I never really wanted this tree to be removed, honestly. It holds a lot of memories.â He chuckled.
They both sat down under the oak tree and looked up at the star, just like what they did back when they were still kids. There was a comfortable silence between them, until she decided to break the silence.
âYouâve really made a name for yourself,â she said, trying to keep her voice steady. âIâm proud of you.â
âThanks, y/n. That means a lot,â Oscar replied, âand you? Howâs everything going on with you?â He turned to look at you.
âBusy, but good.â She answered. âIâve been working on some big projects. Itâs fulfilling and keeps me busy, you know. But I sometimes miss how life had been easy for us back in the old days.â Oscar nodded, understanding.
âIâm really sorry for what happened to your parents.â She smiled at him. âDonât be, itâs not your fault.â
âBut still, Iâm sorry that I wasnât there when you needed me the most.â She sighed. âItâs okay, Oscar. Really. As they say, life has many ways of testing a person, and this might be mineâŚâ she trailed off.
âHow do you feel now?â He asked. âIâm okay. I mean it still hurts, but learned to kept myself busy, you knowâemotions canât canât hit a moving targetâŚâ she trailed off.
âSo what are your plans now?â She pondered for a bit. âI donât know. I donât really think much about future plans, if Iâm being honest. Wherever the wind will take me, I guess? Iâm happy where life took me these past couple of years, and I intend to keep it that way.â Her response caused Oscar to chuckle.
âSo, youâre more like carpe diem?â He replied, âeh, pretty much!â They both laughed at her response.
They continued talking, reminiscing about the everything. It fascinated her the life that Oscar managed to achieve, and she couldnât even be more prouder for him. Yet, as they spoke, she felt a tug of longing for what could have been and the feelings that she had harbored toward Oscar for the longest of time. She had always imagined a future where their paths might cross in different way, but now it seemed clear that their time had passed.
âIt has been a fun night, Oscar. I really did miss this.â She turned towards him and smiled softly. âIt has been, really.â
âAs much as I want to stay up late and catch up, I still havenât recovered from my flight.â She chuckled. âWell, itâs best you go and rest.â He smiled.
They both head back inside the house and bid her goodbyes to Nicole, Chris, and her sisters.
âThank you so much, Nicole and Chris for a lovely evening.â The couple smiled at her. âYouâre very welcome, y/n. If you need anything, just come or call us.â Nicole said.
âYouâre welcome here anytime, kiddo. Youâre basically a family to us.â Chris patted her shoulder. âI will. Thank you so much again.â They hugged her briefly.
Oscar walked you to the gates, before she leaves, she turned to him. âThank you, Oscar. It was really nice seeing you again.â He smiled. âIt was really nice seeing you again too. It was due time we see each other again.â
He hugged her again once more, but a bit tighter this time. âPromise me you wonât be a stranger,â he said, his voice carrying a bit of the old familiarity.
âI promise,â she replied, though she knew that the distance between them would always remain. âTake care of yourself, Oscar.â With one last pat at his shoulder, she walked away.
There was a lot of things that had been unsaid tonight. But despite the heaviness she felt in her chest, there are things that are better off unsaid. Seeing Oscar so happy and successful was bittersweet. Her feeling for him, once so strong, but in the end, only three things had matteredâhow much you loved him, how you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things are not meant for you.

â First love, late spring.
Summary: what does it feel like, to fall in love with them?
Characters: Jing Yuan, Dan Heng, Gepard, Kafka, Bronya, Serval, Asta x gender neutral reader.
Word count: 1.2 k.
Tags: fluff.
Authorâs note: my debut writing for Honkai Star Rail ! I know Jing Yuan hasnât been released yet, so his part is just personal interpretation; all in all, these are just some sort of little headcanons I wanted to try imagining and writing down, I hope you enjoy <3
Reblog to support your favorite authors ! It helps more than likes.
JING YUAN
Falling in love with the Cloud Knight general feels like returning to a home you still hadnât realized how much youâd longed for.
His calm presence draws you in, a melodious and crackling hearth beckoning you forward in shades of gold and skies at sundown. To stand beside him could be compared to entering a secret forest, where the moon rises as she kisses the dipping sun on the cheek as they meet at dusk. Birds chirp happily, as if revealing the songs your heart likes to play when you are with Jing Yuan, the heat in your cheeks, a manifestation of the firework embers lighting up the starry twilight. The general puts his arm around your shoulders, bringing your form closer to his, fluffy argent hair tickling the side of your neck.
You lean into him, the sunset looks a little brighter when your loverâs lips graze your temple.
And when his big calloused hand intertwines its fingers with yours, you know with him, anywhere is paradise.
DAN HENG
Scarlet maple forests feel more magical underneath the stars.
In the same way, pieces of every story and memory that constitute the wielder of Cloud-Piercer take form before your eyes as you make your way starwards.
Not one for many words or idle conversation, Dan Heng shows you the emotions he conceals to the public in small actions, starlit fragments only the one who dares to rummage between the layers of crimson leaves will uncover. Shielding you from unexpected enemies, helping you up and down the platform of the express, throwing a blanket over your shoulders when you inevitably pass out on the couch after running around with March⌠And when, still halfway into your realm of dreams, you call his name, a keen eye may spot on the express guradâs cheeks some of the carmine usually adrift in the breeze in the autumn months.
Then again, if could be just your sleepy imaginationâŚ
Perhaps. is the lingering âwhat ifâ echoing on your mind.
GEPARD
The steady rock amidst a tumultuous ocean, relentless waves colliding against its silvery surface, time and time again.
Yet the rock does not yield.
Much in the same way the captain of the Silvermane Guards is your white-hot anchor in the blizzard.
No matter how hurt you are, Gepard stays.
No matter how drained and wasted your last breakup left you, his strong arms embrace you, the biting gales futile against his hold.
And maybe, taking notice of your own (and his) feelings might take you a while.
But Gepard Landauâs heart only knows loyalty.
So he waits.
For you to realize, for the sun to finally shine, and mark the path from you to him.
Because argent tends to reflect the skies, and only when the morning star deigns to shine, can the cobblestones tying you together gleam.
You take a step, and you know Gepard Landau is your only destination.
KAFKA
Exhilarating and with âdangerâ spelled in boldened capitals, that is how romance with the Stellaronâs Hunter feels.
The rational part of you warned you this was a bad idea, yet, as they say, sometimes, the heart wants what it wants.
Freedom prevailed that night, and your lips met the Interastral Peace Corporationâs most wantedâs.
It could have been the drinks you had, against your better judgment, the sweet intoxication of the alcohol in your system and of the temptation of her, a ticking bomb combination.
But caution is thrown to the wind the moment Kafka wraps her priced coat around your shoulders, her lips sensually whispering in your ear, promises of a million idyllic tomorrows together already tangling in the messy yarn ball of your mind.
But who are you to refuse? Or how could anyone, for that matter? When her painted lips envelop yours under the infinity of the firmament?
BRONYA
Dignified, smart, and the picture perfect image of what a heir should be like.
However, what is hidden beyond that icy facade of flawless poise?
Your sweet lover, a girl who enjoys the sound of tranquil nights and hurried steps by morning, someone who lets herself daydream to the faint music coming from Golden Theater.
A beautiful and enchanting contradiction, a storm of opposites you canât help but get lost in, from the pretty curls of her lucent hair, to her determined gunmetal gaze.
Who would have thought, you think with a tender smile, as your hands run through her steel moonlit tresses, that youâd get to win the heart of the Heir to the Supreme Guardian of Belebog?
Leaving a soft kiss to the crown of her head, you lay down beside her in bed. With a last look out the window at the slate sky, you close your eyes.
The lyrics to a ballad swirl in your mind, probably coming from Golden Theater.
In the dim light, you find your girlfriendâs hand.
That night, Bronya Rand would be the actress in your oneiric plane, her heart, yours alone.
SERVAL
Electrifying and magnetizing, akin to a violet horizon right before a storm. The thunder in the distance makes your every hair stand on end, yet you canât help longing for something more.
Afternoons helping Serval out at Neverwinter Workshop always end with you sitting before her, wide smile aglow on your features as she picks up her electric guitar. You always loved the way her sapphire eyes sparkled when she talked about this or that new song she was composing, but actually getting to see her perform for you alone⌠thatâs enough to get you giddy.
Her painted nails strum the cords with ease, each of them bending at the workshop ownerâs will, as lightning seems to take command of your heart, its thundering pace and the melody she plays seamlessly dancing to the beat of a fervent tango.
As the sky throws its indigo shawl over the lovers, the blonde gazes at you, a pretty (and unusual) rosy tone on her cheeks, a silent inquire for your thoughts about her new piece.
After all, youâre always the first one to hear every new song she comes up with.
ASTA
The girl who used to dream of naming stars after herself finally found a star that will always orbit around the fiery sun she is.
Her crystalline eyes look up from the papers she was sorting out until moments ago, her lips curving up in a crescent not unlike the one she used to observe, when she spots you.
Two cups of coffee in hand, you sit beside her, your head leaning on her shoulder. Your hand catches hers over the table, prompting her to stop the frantic scribbling of her pen.
And the instant her opalescent gaze meets yours, she is breathless, a nebula the color of her hair spreading through her cheeks. Her pen falls out of her grasp, the words she never seems at a loss for, failing her.
As they do every time when it comes to you.
But who could blame her? When sheâd trade every galaxy and celestial body in this universe and the next for a millisecond next to you?
The lead researcher of Herta Space Station closes her notepad.
For now, work can wait.

Brown Eyes
Alec Volturi x Astral Projecting! Reader
Warning: Brief mention of suicide
Disclaimer: Hi! I had this idea for an Alec fic. I'm sorry though since it's been so long since I wrote a story so I'm a bit rusty. Alec and Jane are also a bit out of character in this. I tried. Enjoy!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sitting under the brightly lit, starry sky, appreciating the light breeze free of pollution. Once again, waiting for a certain brown-eyed boy. "__! Sorry for making you wait. I promised Mother I'll help Jane with her errands today" the boy said, lightly jogging towards the smiling girl. "Hey, Alec! Don't worry. I didn't wait that long" The girl said reassuringly while patting a seat next to her. "So, are you ever gonna tell me where you've been? I can't help but notice you only show up every night" Alec asked, slightly turning his head to __. "Hmm, like I said, I'm not from here. I just so happened to stumble upon your village when I met you. I started hanging around ever since," The girl said, smiling softly, knowing she couldn't say where she was really from. Not only is she not sure of herself, but he also would not believe her if she told him her guess. "Fine. Perhaps, I can just walk you home later then?" Alec asked, hoping for a yes. __ turned her head towards Alec. "I want you to Alec. Believe me, I do but you know you can't-" She was about to tell him the usual lines but got cut off by Alec. "Because you're not from here. I know" Alec said with a hint of disappointment. "I'm sorry, Alec," __ said, sadly looking at the said boy. The moonlight illuminated his pale face, making his brown eyes sparkle even more. "Don't worry, __. Just promise me next time you'll let me walk you home at least. It's dangerous for a girl to walk at this time of night" Alec said, staring at __. __ smiled brightly at the boy, once again facing the starlit skies. The two continued to enjoy each other's company until it was time for Alec to head back to his waiting mother and twin.
Ever since the night __ showed up, they've started meeting up at the same location, talking about anything and everything. The two surely enjoyed each other's company. They became an escape from the cruel reality they lived in. Alec stumbled upon a seemingly lost __ one night when he was out getting some firewood. Without any hesitation, he helped the girl, offering to stay in their humble cabin with his mother and sister. The girl, of course, declined, knowing she was not even supposed to be there.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Opening her eyes, __ was met with the all too familiar ceiling of her room. Him again. The girl thought to herself. Feeling tired despite waking up from a full night's slumber. Smelling breakfast cooking downstairs, she hurriedly finished her morning routine leaving some more time for her to at least eat her breakfast without being late for school.
Alec. The boy with the sparkling brown eyes. Ever since my mother died and I moved here to Forks with my Uncle Charlie and his daughter Isabella, I've been dreaming about a boy named Alec. A dream that feels like reality. A dream like no other. It started with me waking up in a clearing near a small cabin. I saw a boy, not that older than me holding a bunch of wood. Not knowing where I was, I decided to approach the boy. That's when I noticed his eyes. His hazel-coloured eyes seemed to reflect the brightness of the moon. Ever since then, as much as I want to deny it, I've been looking forward to sleep. Because through sleeping, I get to escape this reality.
"Morning, __. Come and eat. I made breakfast" Sue said, smiling and placing a plate of bacon on the table. "Hey, kid. Good sleep?" Charlie asked, fixing his tie, and preparing to go down to the station. __ smiled, taking a bite out of her bacon. "Yep. I slept early. Didn't wanna be late" Said __. "By the way, Bella and Edward might drop off later along with Ness," Charlie said while heading to his cruiser. "Oh, nice. I'll make sure to come home early then. I miss my niece" __ said hurriedly, dropping off her plate by the sink. She quickly gave her step-aunt a quick hug before heading out of the house.
Saddling herself atop her BMW R18 bike, she fixed her helmet, making sure it securely buckled, before lighting a quick smoke, making sure Charlie was already out of sight before starting her engine.
Time goes by slowly for __. All she wanted to do was to go home, take a quick refreshing shower, and snuggle on her fluffy bed, hoping to see her brown-eyed boy. But alas, here she is, sitting in English class, bored out of her wits. Without knowing, __ dozed off.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once again, she finds herself in the middle of a clearing near a small cabin. Happiness and relief filled her heart. She'd get to see Alec again for sure. "Brother, help me with this, please. I can't reach it" she heard what sounded like a girl calling out. "Just a moment, sister. Let me finish feeding the last chicken. I'll be there" Excitement filled the girl when she heard the voice. It's Alec. I have to hurry. The girl hurriedly followed the voice, pinning her outside of a small cabin. It was a simple cabin made of wood. Outside it has a small garden of what looked like an assortment of flowers and even vegetables. A bit farther to the east, she saw a girl not that much older than her, trying to hang the newly washed clothes. From a short distance, she was met with a familiar build walking towards them. Alec. She quickly approached the twins, excited to see Alec. Shortly, the twins notice her. Alec beamed when his eyes landed on the familiar girl. "__! You're early today" He said, waving at the girl. "Hey, Alec" __ smiled at the duo. "Oh, this is my twin, Jane, by the way. I told you she was real, sister". Alec said. The blonde girl turned to __. "Hello, I'm Jane. I'm Alec's twin. Ever since the other night, he's been talking about you nonstop. I and Mother thought he was making it up" Jane said, walking up to __. "It's nice meeting you too, Jane. I've heard so much about you from Alec. He loves his sister dearly", __ said, turning her head towards Alec, who just snorted. "I do not. Jane's annoying", Alec said, playfully pushing his fuming sister. "Ugh, Alec. I'll tell Mother" Jane said, running towards the house.
Laughing, Alec turned towards the girl, still holding the basket of chicken feed. "So, you're early today" He asked, motioning the girl to follow him to the small shed by their cabin. "Well, I had nothing better to do at home, so why not?" __ said, following suit, watching Alec work on a rusty farming tool. The said boy paused for a while, his brown eyes looking straight at the girl's __ colored ones, sending chills down her spine. As crazy as it sounds, the same brown eyes that sent her to not wanting to wake up. The same brown eyes she came to love in just a few nights. "Answer me honestly, __. You're not from here. I get it now. You're literally not from here. The way you talk, the way you dress. Everything about you. You're not even supposed to be here are you?" Alec asked, still staring at the bewildered girl. "Honestly, Alec. I don't know. I don't know how to answer you because I don't know how I do it. I don't even know why I'm here. It sounds crazy, Alec. I know. The only thing I know is this is the only time in my life that I look forward to. Even though I know it's wrong. I'm not from here. I don't even know if this is all real. But after meeting you, you've become an escape for me. An escape from the reality I live in. The reality of losing my mother, being forced to live across states, being forced to smile despite everything. So to answer your question, I don't know. But what I do know is that I don't want to leave. I don't want to wake up and go back to my dull life without you." __ said, not knowing that tears were slowly pouring. The boy, quickly dropping his tools, enfulged the girl in a hug, slowly wiping her tears. "I apologize for asking, __. But I have to say that you've also become an escape for me. After that night, I've been looking forward to your arrival. You're one of a kind. While the whole village avoids us and treats us badly, like we're the devil's spawns, you're the only one who is willing to talk to us, more so to befriend us. As selfish as it sounds, part of me is also wishing for you to stay here with me" Alec said, hugging the girl tightly as if their lives both depended on it. They both stayed like that for a while. Both enjoying each other's embrace. That is until they heard a woman's voice calling. "Alec!" Said the voice. "That's my mother. I better go. Why don't you come with me?" Alec said, letting go of the girl. "I'm ok, Alec. I'll wait for you here" said the girl.
I don't want to wake up. Please don't wake me up.- The girl heard loud banging. She looked around, not knowing where the sound was coming from until another loud bang came.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The professor banged loudly on the sleeping girl's desk, waking her up from her deep slumber. "Ms. Swan, you might wanna wake up now. You're the only one left here. All the others already went home" __ looked up to the source of the voice only to see her professor glaring down at her. The said professor only left a piece of paper on her desk before walking out of the room, shaking his head in disappointment. Great. A detention slip.
__ sat in the detention room, bored out of her wits thinking about the brown-eyed boy. I have to go back. He told me himself. He feels the same way. I have to go back to him. Nothing's waiting for me in this world anyway. Mom and Dad are gone. Uncle Charlie and Aunt Sue probably think of me as a nuisance to have around. Bella's off living her married life. Nothing is left for me in this world. In the other world, I have my Alec.
__ walked along the path to the seemingly empty parking lot. Finally securing her helmet, she saddled herself on her motorbike. Ready to drive along the familiar path, her mind made up of what she's decided to do.
Walking out of the drugstore, sleeping pills in her bag, she hurried home to see her cousin Bella her husband, and child in the living room. Putting down her stuff, she ran to her cousin and niece giving them a tight hug. Edward gave Bella a knowing look. Unbeknownst to the girl her cousin's husband can read all her thoughts.
"__! I missed you. C'mon, let's go to your room. I've been meaning to talk to you" Bella said, practically dragging her cousin up the stairs, leaving her daughter and her husband downstairs. "How are you holding up?" Bella asked, sitting down on the bed while __ sat on her computer desk. "Holding up just fine, Bells. Don't worry about me. I'm feeling amazing. I've never felt this good in a while" __ said smiling up to her cousin. "By the way, Bells, I know Ness wanted to have her gaming console and you guys are still thinking about buying one for her. Well, I've been thinking. I haven't been using my Switch lately so why not just give it to her? Don't worry about the games. I have tons. You can filter out the games if you'd like" __ said, happily. Bella watched her cousin sadly as she went around the room gathering the said games, packing it all in a bag before offering it to Bella. Instead of accepting the bag, Bella held her cousin's hand. "Cous, I appreciate the gesture but we can't accept that just yet. Look, why don't we go hang out with Ed's brothers later at our house? You can bring the Switch. I'm sure Ness will enjoy a game night later" Bella asked. "Sorry, Bells, I have to catch up on school wor-" The girl was not able to finish her sentence as her cousin was quick to cut off her. "Please? This is a favor. I owe you. Just come with us later. I promise you'll enjoy it. Besides, you need a break" As Bella pleaded, she heard her husband calling for her from below. Bella once again looked at her, smiling. "Fine. Let me grab my stuff then let's go" said __. Well, this is the least I could do for what I'm about to do later. They deserve this much. __ thought to herself not knowing the sad look Edward had downstairs.
Edward watched her wife and child play with Charlie in the living room when he heard a faint thought probably from miles away. "This is it. Almost home. I hope these pills work. Please work. I need to see him. I need to go back to my Alec. Nothing is waiting for me in this world. Mom and Dad are dead. I'm just a bother, a nuisance to everyone. To Uncle Charlie, Aunt Sue, Bella, Edward, Ness. I'm sure they'll be better off without another responsibility. I have to do this". If vampires still had blood in their system, Edward would have probably paled. That was __. She can't be thinking about that. And what does she mean by seeing Alec? She doesn't even know about the existence of vampires, much less, the existence of the Volturi. "Can't this bike go a bit faster? I'm so excited to see my brown-eyed boy". Maybe I'll agree to Alec's offer to meet his Mother later." Edward was shocked by what he heard. Brown-eyes? Mother? With that, Edward excused his wife to the kitchen to tell her what he discovered and the possible reason for the occurrence.
__ entered Edward's Volvo, sitting down beside her niece, her plans delayed. In no time they were on the road heading to the Cullen house. Without knowing, the girl drifted off to a long-wanted slumber.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was dark. Screaming was heard from the distance. __, realizing where she was, quickly ran towards her beloved's cabin. There she saw the villagers dragging the struggling twins out the door, pitchforks and torch on hand. Once the twins were out, they took out their screaming mother as well. Horrified, she ran towards the group of villagers to try to stop the scene. "BURN THE WITCHES!!!" One of the villagers screamed followed by the others. "NO PLEASE, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. THEY'RE NOT WITCHES! LET THEM GO. ALEC!!!" __ screamed, holding on to one of the villagers holding a struggling Alec. "__! Run. Please. Don't get caught up on this. PLEASE, EVERYONE, DON'T HURT HER. SHE'S NOT A PART OF THIS. __! GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FOR. PLEASE" Alec pleaded while being dragged. Before __ reached the boy, she was held back by a gruff-looking villager. "NO PLEASE, SIR, LET THEM GO!" The girl pleaded. "Stay back, madam. You've already been enchanted by the witches. Once they're gone, the spell will be broken" The villager said. __ kicked and screamed to be let go as she watched her beloved and his family get tied to the stake, ready to be burned while hearing the other villagers chanting to burn the witches. "PLEASE NO! BURN ME. BURN ME INSTEAD, PLEASE, ALEC!" __ screamed helplessly. "NO! DON'T. DON'T TOUCH HER. SHE'S SAYING THAT BECAUSE OF MY SPELL. I CURSED HER. DON'T HURT HER" Alec pleaded. __ only watched helplessly, crying to all the Gods to help her beloved brown-eyed boy. The last thing she remembered from that night was Alec mouthing one last "I love you" before closing his eyes and accepting his fate.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
__ woke up screaming in an unfamiliar environment. Tears streaming down her face. She quickly hopped down the white bed, ran to her bag, and rummaged for the sleeping pills only to be stopped by her cousin, her husband by the door. Bella lightly shook the girl. "__! You're ok. Please, you're ok" Bella pleaded while hugging her struggling cousin both because of reassurance and for her not to be able to reach the pills. "LET ME GO, BELLA!" __ screamed and struggled to no avail. Human against a vampire after all. Bella only loosened her grip when she felt her cousin stop fighting. "You don't understand, Bella. I have to go back. I have to save my Alec. He's being burned, Bells. Please let me help him. There's nothing left for me here, please" __ pleaded. Although no tears can be produced, Bella felt her cousin's pain. "We're here, __. You may think there's nothing left for you but we're here. You can't leave us just yet. Ness can't lose her Aunty yet. There's also nothing you can do about Alec. You can't change anything. What's done is done, __". __ snapped her head up to her cousin, staring at her unbelievingly. "What do you mean?" __ whispered. As if on cue, Edward called them both. "It's time, Bells. They're here."
Running across the forest towards the Cullen's residence, Alec felt different. He felt a pull towards the said residence causing him to hurry. "Brother!" He was snapped out of his thoughts by his twin. "Sister, I apologize. I didn't hear you. What were you saying?" He turned to his sister. "I was asking if you're ok. As soon as we stepped foot in Washington, you started to act dazed" Jane asked his brother worriedly. "I'm fine, sister. I just feel weird. It's like something is pulling me towards the Cullens" He stated. "You're talking like you're about to find your mate with the Cullens" Jane said to her brother jokingly with a small smile. This side of her only shows her brother. Alec internally cringed at the thought.
As they near the Cullen's house, the stronger the pull. Until a certain smell reached his nose. A smell so intoxicating, a smell so sweet that it makes his throat burn despite just feeding on a couple of humans on the way to their destination. With that, the duo hurried to the residence to finish the mission Aro entrusted them: To check on the hybrid.
The pair arrived at the residence. Carlisle, the family's patriarch, standing by the doorstep. "Alec, Jane. It's nice to see the both of you. Come join us inside. Renesmee is with Edward". Carlisle said, stepping out of the way for the duo to enter. The scent ever so worsening, piercing Alec's whole being, causing further burning on his throat. Edward being able to hear his thoughts already had an idea of what was causing the burn, having experienced what the twin is experiencing before with Bella when she was a human. He may not be fond of the thought that the cousin-in-law he came to love as his sister will be mated with a Volturi, he does not say anything as he knows he's not one to talk knowing how blood-singer works.
Hearing new voices downstairs, __ can't help but feel a pull. "I'm sure Aro will be delighted to hear that the hybrid is not a threat. If we're correct, she's already reached her full maturity" Hearing those words, __ instantly felt her heart leap. That voice. Can it be? My Alec. My dear Alec is here. But how? I don't understand what's happening. Despite the confusion, she hurried downstairs to confirm her assumptions.
Heart full of hope, she hurried down the stairs. There she saw two people in black. Then she was splashed with cold water, she was met with a sight that gave her hope. Standing by the piano was her beloved with his twin. I don't understand. He's from my dream. I watched them both burn. What is happening?
As the twins are watching Renesmee play on the Piano, Alec once again, is hit with the intoxicating scent. Desperate to find the source, he snapped his head up towards the staircase where a familiar __-haired girl was standing. She seemed familiar. Everything about her feels familiar, feels like home however, no matter how much Alec wracked his brain, he can't seem to pinpoint how and where he met the girl. The moment he locked eyes with the girl, everything went flying out of the window. Nothing ever mattered. Not Aro, not his reputation, not the Volturi. All that matters is this familiar girl. Everything clicked. The scent. Her blood sings to him. Jane was right after all. He will find his mate with the Cullens.
Despite not liking the situation, Edward can't help but smile. This is better for his mate's cousin. She finally found her other half.
In an instant, Alec was in front of __, shocking the girl. She didn't have any idea about the vampire world after all. Nevertheless, she still touched the boy's cheek with her palm, caressing it softly, not minding the cold temperature in contrast to her fairly warm hand. "Alec. You're ok. But your eyes?" she said. Shocked that she knew his name, he finally found his voice. "You know my name?" This seems to strike something within the young girl. "You don't remember" she said, all hope leaving her. Sensing the pain in the girl seemed to hurt him as well. The exchange was cut off by the other twin. "Brother, if I understood correctly, it seemed that you have found your mate in this human. Although Caius will be thrilled to know that the Cullens are yet again endangering our species by telling another human of our existence" said Jane. That statement seemed to anger the male vampire and for the first time in centuries, that anger was towards his dear sister. "Yes, I have found my mate. However, you will not interfere, sister. This will not reach the masters. __ shall remain unharmed" Alec said, black mist slowly seeping from his palms, ready to protect his dear mate. Sensing the anger radiating from her brother, Jane was quick to reassure her brother. As much as she hated the fact that her dearest brother was mated to a human, one associated with the Cullens nonetheless, her priority is still her brother's happiness and if accepting the human is required then she's willing to adjust. "Understood, brother. We shall tell them once you're ready. It pains me that you think I'll hurt your mate" Jane said, slowly approaching the two. "Jane? It's you. You're also safe. Oh, thank God. But your eyes though. And, Alec, you're so cold. Are you ok? Are you sick?" __ said, relief turning to worry in seconds.
"Sorry to break the moment but Alec, Jane, she's not aware of our existence. If I'm not mistaken, she's also been having visions about you even before now, Alec" Edward said. "I see. Brother, I believe it's best to explain the situation to her" Jane said, turning to her twin. "Yes. Jane, can we excuse you outside? We need I have to tell you something about those visions" Bella whispered so low as to not let the human girl hear. Everyone left the two mates together.
"What happened to you Alec?" __ asked sitting down. Before he could respond, he saw tears slowly pouring from the girl's eyes. Quickly, he wiped away the tears. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to do anything, I wasn't able to stop the villagers, Alec" said the girl, tears streaming down her cheeks. That statement seemed to bring all the memories of that night to Alec. That's why she's familiar. She's the girl who only appears at night. The girl who insists she's not from there. It all makes sense now. Alec thought to himself. "__. It makes sense now. You are not from that era, are you? That's why you keep on disappearing" He unknowingly said, voicing out his thoughts. "Yes, and I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I did try going back but I can't-" Before she finished, she was cut off by Alec. "Cara Mia, it's not your fault. Even if you come back, there's nothing you can do. And even if you do go back, please don't change anything. Don't save us. If you do, we won't be able to meet here" Alec said, holding both of __'s hands. "I don't understand, Alec. What's happening?" __ said, gripping Alec's hand. "Don't worry, __. Let me explain everything but you have to relax. Ok, Cara Mia?" Alec said, gently brushing his thumb across her face. With that, the boy opened the world of the supernatural to the girl.
Jane sat in Bella and Edward's small forest cabin along with the other Cullens, trying to understand the situation. "__ has been having visions of both you and Alec even before. Much like Alice but with her, it's the past and it only happens when she's asleep" Bella tried to explain the best she could. "I heard her thoughts before going here. She said it started when she moved here to Forks a day after her family's accident" Edward added. "Wait. So time travel?" Jane asked, confusion evident in her voice. "Kind of? In the form of astral projection. I'm sorry, Jane. That's all we know. We only learned about this earlier this afternoon" Alice piped in.
"I want to become a vampire" This statement shocked the vampires walking in from Edward and Bella's. "Alec, turn me now. C'mon, bite me. I'm ready." __ said happily, turning to Alec while exposing her neck which shocked the boy even more. "Love, let's slow down a bit, ok? I know you want to be with me which I'm very happy about but as I explained earlier, once you become like us, there won't be any turn backs" Alec said gently holding her hands. "I know and I'm ready. C'mon let's do it now" She retorted which caused the twins to smile. "How about this? We set a date. How about on your 18th birthday? It will be set a month from now. This way, you'll have enough time to enjoy your mortality and bid your farewells to your human friends. Deal?" Alec said, putting his hands on her waist, and pulling her closer. The newly found mates don't seem to mind the other vampires watching. "Fine. But you have to stay here with me, ok? For a month. Please" She said, putting her forehead against his cold ones. "Of course, that can be arranged, right, sister?" He said, smiling and not bothering to turn his head towards his twin. Jane smiled. Happy that her brother finally found his other half after centuries of waiting. "Of course, brother. I'll give Aro a call" She said happily.
Finally, the two souls seemingly unreachable to each other have met and reunited. Indeed love moves in mysterious ways.

Guiding Stars - Kara Danvers x reader
[summary: reader is in love with kara and confesses their feelings to her]
Masterlist
National City was a place of constant hustle and bustle, where the streets buzzed with energy and the skies were guarded by a vigilant protectorâSupergirl. Amidst this city's chaos, fate guided you to a chance encounter with Kara Danvers, a woman with a heart as bright as the sun she concealed within her.
You were drawn to Kara's warmth and kindness from the moment you met her at CatCo. Her smile was like a beacon of light in a world that often seemed overshadowed by darkness. As you got to know her, you realized that her compassion was matched only by her determination to make the world a better place.
One evening, after a long day at CatCo, you found Kara sitting on the balcony of her apartment, gazing at the stars. The city lights twinkled below, creating a mesmerizing backdrop for your conversation.
"Kara," you began, "there's something about you, about the way you care for others, that's truly inspiring."
Kara turned to you, her blue eyes sparkling with curiosity. "I've always believed that we have a responsibility to use our gifts to help those in need."
As you continued to talk, you discovered a shared sense of purposeâa desire to make a difference, no matter how small. It was as if your paths had converged for a reason, aligning your lives in a way that felt destined.
As weeks turned into months, your connection with Kara deepened. You found yourself spending more time together, whether it was working on a story for CatCo or supporting her in her heroic endeavors as Supergirl. There was an unspoken understanding between you, a bond that grew stronger with each passing day.
One night, as you and Kara stood on a rooftop, gazing at the city's skyline, you couldn't hold back the feelings that had taken root within you. "Kara, there's something I've been wanting to tell you," you confessed, your heart racing.
Kara turned to you, her expression a mixture of curiosity and anticipation. "What is it?"
Taking a deep breath, you met her gaze. "Kara, you've become a guiding star in my life. Your compassion, your strengthâit's all so incredible. And I... I've fallen for you."
Kara's eyes widened slightly, her lips parting in surprise. After a moment, a soft smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. "I never thought I'd hear those words from someone who knows both sides of me."
You stepped closer, your heart pounding. "Kara, I see youâthe reporter, the hero, the person behind the mask. And I care for every part of you."
In that moment, beneath the starlit sky, Kara reached out and took your hand, her touch sending a shiver down your spine. "I care for you too," she admitted, her voice soft but resolute. "Being Supergirl often means putting others first, but with you, I want to explore a different side of life."
As the city's lights continued to shimmer below, you shared a kissâa promise of the emotions that had grown between you, a promise of the adventures you would embark upon together.
In the days that followed, you navigated the challenges of life in National City side by side, leaning on each other's strengths and supporting each other through the trials that arose. Amidst the chaos of the world, you found solace and joy in each other's company, held together by a love that was as powerful as the sun that illuminated the sky.

In the quiet hush of evening's glow,
Where whispers of the stars softly flow,
I find your eyes, like constellations bright,
Guiding my heart through the velvet night.
Your laughter, a melody, sweet and pure,
A symphony of joy, my soul's allure.
With every word, you weave a gentle spell,
Binding my heart in love's tender swell.
In your embrace, the world fades away,
Leaving just us, where dreams softly play.
Your touch, a promise of all things divine,
A silent vow that you'll always be mine.
Oh, how the moon envies our sweet dance,
As we twirl in the rhythm of romance.
For in your love, I've found my home,
A place where our hearts never roam.
So hold me close, beneath the starlit skies,
Where forever begins in your eyes.

Lie with you
You met Ten on a summer night when the world felt alive with possibility. There was an instant pull between you, a spark in the air, something neither of you could define. He was magnetic, with a quiet confidence that drew you in, his laughter lingering like a melody that wouldnât leave your mind. Those first months together were filled with late-night talks and stolen kisses under starlit skies, and with each shared moment, you fell deeper, as if he was the only person who could see your heart clearly.
But the beauty of it all was shadowed by an unspoken truth. Ten had plans to leave, dreams that stretched beyond what you both had, no matter how much he cared for you. It was inevitable; he was going to move abroad, chase his art, and live the life heâd always wanted. And even though he reassured you a thousand times that distance wouldnât change anything, a part of you already felt the ache of a love left behind.
âYou know Iâll come back to you,â he said one evening, brushing a tear from your cheek. âIâll always come back.â
So, you tried to believe him, even as you counted down the days until his departure. But that day arrived too soon. At the airport, Ten held you tightly, his fingers lingering in your hair as if he could press a piece of himself into your soul to stay there forever. His eyes held that same promise heâd made all along, but you felt the space widen between you as he walked away.
For months, you stayed connected through letters and late-night calls, each one a lifeline, even as you watched his world expanding without you. Heâd tell you about the new places heâd visited, the art shows heâd seen, and each story was painted with such vibrant detail that you almost felt you were there. Almost.
But slowly, the calls grew fewer, the letters sporadic, until there were weeks of silence stretching between every word. When you finally heard from him again, it was in the form of a simple, bittersweet letter.
âI donât know how to say this, but maybe Iâve been too selfish in holding on to you. You deserve someone who can be there, someone who isnât halfway around the world. Youâll always have my heart, but it isnât fair for me to ask you to waitâŚâ
The pain of those words cut deeper than any goodbye youâd imagined. But you understood, even if it broke you. So, you let him go, holding onto the memories like fragile pieces of a dream that had slipped through your fingers.
Years passed. You moved on in fragments, piecing yourself back together, though a part of you was always still tangled up in the love youâd shared with him. And one night, as you walked down an unfamiliar street in a city youâd never planned to visit, you saw himâTen, standing there, looking like a memory brought to life. His gaze met yours, a flicker of surprise and something else, something almost like regret.
Without words, you both knew: the love had never faded, but the time had slipped away, leaving you both as strangers to the people you once were. Ten smiled at you, a gentle, bittersweet smile, and for a moment, it felt like all those lost years disappeared.
But reality called him away once more. He walked past you, his fingers brushing yours in a fleeting touch that held everything youâd both once been. And as he disappeared into the crowd, you felt the finality of itâa love that would forever linger like a shadow, never to be forgotten, but lost all the same.
This story captures the weight of letting go, of a love left suspended in time, and of the quiet heartbreak in knowing that sometimes, no matter how deeply you love, timing can be an insurmountable wall.

Title: Eternity's Embrace
The moon shone down upon the quiet streets of Collinsport, casting a silver glow over the town as [Y/N] lay in bed, weakened by the relentless grip of Tuberculosis. The tick of the clock echoed through the room, marking the precious moments slipping away. By his side, Angelique Bouchard watched over him, her heart heavy with sorrow.
Time seemed to slow, each passing second an agonizing reminder of their limited hours together. Angelique's love for [Y/N] burned fiercely within her, an inferno of desperation. She could not bear the thought of his life slipping away, leaving her alone in a world filled with shadows.
Her mind raced, searching for a solution, and in her desperation, Angelique turned to her ancient knowledge of magic. With trembling hands, she whispered incantations, calling upon the dark forces that whispered in the corners of her mind. Her eyes glowed with a haunting light as she weaved her spell, seeking an answer to their plight.
As the last words escaped her lips, a surge of energy enveloped the room. [Y/N] stirred, his weakened body trembling, and he gasped for breath. A newfound strength surged through his veins, coursing with an otherworldly power. Confusion and anger gripped him as he realized what had been done, his humanity ripped away in a bid for eternal love.
"[Y/N]," Angelique's voice trembled, tears streaming down her face. "I could not bear to lose you. I turned you into a vampire, hoping to grant us an eternity together. Forgive me, my love."
The room was silent, the weight of betrayal hanging heavy in the air. [Y/N]'s heart pounded in his chest, torn between the anger that burned within him and the love he held for Angelique. He turned to her, his eyes filled with turmoil, and in that moment, he saw her raw vulnerability, her unwavering devotion, and the depth of her sacrifice.
A sigh escaped his lips, his anger dissipating like smoke in the wind. The love he held for Angelique, the love that had bound them together, was stronger than any resentment he could harbor. With a tender gaze, he reached out, his fingers gently brushing against her tear-streaked cheek.
"Angelique," he whispered, his voice filled with a mixture of forgiveness and understanding. "You acted out of love, and though it was not the path I would have chosen, I cannot deny the depths of your feelings for me. I forgive you, my love."
Relief washed over Angelique's face as she threw her arms around [Y/N], holding him tightly against her chest. Their embrace was filled with a mix of joy, sorrow, and a profound acceptance of the choices they had made. In that moment, they vowed to face the uncertainties of their newfound existence together.
Leaving behind the shadows of Collinsport, they embarked on a journey to a new life. Paris, the city of lights, awaited them with its romantic allure and promise of endless adventures. Hand in hand, they wandered the enchanting streets, discovering the art, culture, and beauty of the world.
In Paris, they found solace in each other's arms, their love growing with every passing night. Angelique's magic became a source of wonder and joy, as she conjured ethereal landscapes and created moments that would be etched in their memories forever. The Louvre became their sanctuary, the Eiffel Tower their eternal symbol of love.
As the years turned into decades, [Y/N] never forgot his humanity. He cherished the memories of his mortal life, but his heart found solace in the eternity he shared with
Angelique. Together, they danced through the ages, savoring every sunrise, every moonlit walk along the Seine.
In the embrace of eternity, they discovered a love that transcended the boundaries of time and mortality. They became each other's salvation, the light that shone in the darkest of nights. And under the starlit skies of Paris, their love burned as bright as ever, a beacon of hope and devotion that would endure for all eternity.

hey. [ hold ]
[ hold ] â for the senderâs muse to hold the receiverâs muse by the face / neck gently and brush their thumbs along their cheeks to get them to focus on them.
she falls to her knees in exhaustion, every muscle in her body spent and aching. the wave of relief that crashes over her is strong enough to keep the horror at bay as she stares at the unmoving form of ketheric thorm, all but a broken shell now. (so much for ketheric the deathless, ketheric the chosen. so much for the lord of bones, the shadow that's haunted her steps for as long as she can remember.)
arlis moves slowly to stand, teeth gritting with the effort, but then thorm's hand twitches at her feet. her blood runs cold with horror, because no-, no, not again, and then thorm is rising with the jerking machinations of a puppet on a string. the puppeteer's voice is suddenly in her mind, dry as dust and dark as night, and it speaks her name with an intimacy that rips the breath from her lungs.
that gravelight has returned to thorm's eyes now, pale and churning, but it's pouring from him now, leaking and spreading, and she doesn't have to see to know that it's drowning the others. lae'zel, vann, gale-; she can taste the graverot thick on her tongue but it's sweet, it was always meant to taste sweet for her, and-
arlis throws off the nightmare with a ragged gasp that cleaves through her throat as she sits up, eyes wide with panic. her gaze darts around in confusion, searching for explanation in the darkened confines of their tent, and her fingernails have dug so fiercely into the tender palm of her hand as to leave bruises.
"arlis-," she flinches harshly at sudden touch and familiar voice, a desperate little sob falling from her lips as gale's words cut through the terror. "arlis, it was a nightmare. listen, it was a nightmare."
gale's hands lift to rest gently against her jaw, turning her gaze to his as his thumbs stroke along the slight curve of her cheeks. "it's alright, i promise. just a nightmare, that's all." his touch is tender but firm, an anchor, and she draws in a sharp breath to try & steady the furious beating of her heart. "that's right, just look at me-" gale intones firmly, "one breath after another, there we are."
slowly but surely, the terror begins to fade and she leans forward to press her sweat-soaked brow to his, yearning for the balm of his nearness. his thumbs trace along her cheekbones as they sit in silence until her breath has evened and furious pulse has steadied.
"do you want to talk about it?" gale finally asks quietly.
"no-," arlis murmurs after a long moment, "i just-, i want it all out of my head, i think."
gale nods and it's only then she takes note of his sleep tousled hair, locks messied and unkempt. it coaxes a surge of gentle affection through her and she lifts a hand in a lazy attempt to tidy it. however, his fingers gently snare her wrist and lower her hand to his lips. "tell me," a featherlight kiss is pressed to her knuckles, "what you'd like to fill your mind instead? name it and it will be done."
gale's eyes are bright now rather than darkened with concern, a smile teasing at both sincerity and eagerness appearing. "starlit skies, imposing vistas, the first hints of a sunrise; name it and you'll have it." his clever fingers twist and the gleam of the weave ebbs softly around his hand. "i can't promise it'll be perfect, even i normally need a bit of time to prepare these sorts of things, but-,"
"perfect?" arlis laughs softly and reaches for his right hand, energy humming against her lips as she kisses each fingertip. gods, but she loves him so dearly it aches. "you would give me the stars, my love, and fear i'd count their imperfections?"
"oh, but i can give you more than the stars," gale grins and wraps an arm carefully around her waist to tug her closer, "i'd craft an entire world for you if i could, a world just for us." there is something akin to reverence in his voice now, a hint of yearning. "imagine it, arlis. every detail purposeful, familiar but also better. something perfect."
"and what if i just want your tower, hm? would you be disappointed if i wished for nothing more than sunsets on your balcony and you beside me?"
he blinks after a pause. "no, not in the slightest."
"then fill my mind with waterdeep tonight," arlis straightens the blankets over them once more, "i know you could have me see it, but i like when you talk about it. you're very good at that, you know, talking." she settles back against the familiar contours of his form, head nestled against his shoulder.
"when you speak of waterdeep," she murmurs around a yawn, fingers reaching to entwine with his own as his chest rises and falls steadily beneath their hands, "i get to see it as you see it. every brick, every book, it's all what you remember, what you find important. that's more than enough, my love."
gale is so very quiet and still that she thinks he's already drifted off, but he finally speaks and when he does, he tells her of the way the moonlight dances on the harbor water and the scent of spices in the markets, the birdsong in the spring and the warmth of the summer sun.
she dreams again, but this time her dreams are full of life.

I Love You! Yes I Do!
Come to me let me
hold you close
under starlit skies
.
Let me embrace the total
essence of you, and let
my lips not ever lie
.
But let my heart strike
a lovely note that will
never leave you blue
.
And as we embrace so
tenderly realize that
I love you, yes I do
.
Let the moon be
our shining jewel
until a forever time
.
Let the stars of heaven
become the strength with
which our love together
softly binds
.
Let our heartâs first
sweet love song forever
last inside our minds
.
And always know that
my love is only yours
until the end of time
.
Let this moment which
we have found never
lose its magic touch
.
Never let the thrill
of the moment fade
away, this moment we
love so much
.
Let the warmth of this hour
find a resting place in
which our hearts will always stay
.
And let us hold each other close
So very close, such that these
genuine feelings never go away
.
Let my two arms always
feel the embrace of
the sweetest love to be ever found
.
Let our lips always meet
sharing tender moments
where sweet happiness abounds
.
And never between us let
a time to come where our
moments we may waste
.
Let us promise, the other
the best of love's nectar
in our lives, we will always
taste
.
Realizing as we grow
together in our love that
stays so rich and true
.
That I spoke these very
tender words to you
âI Love You, Yes I Do.â

Across the Starlit Skies
Across the miles, a whisper on the breeze,
A love forbidden, borne on starlight seas.
âWe shouldn't meet, we shouldn't speak,
Yet hearts entwined, a bond we seek."
Duty binds us, worlds apart,
A constant ache within my heart.
Though miles may separate, it's true,
My endless love, forever new.
We built a world where shadows softly fall,
Where whispered secrets echo to the wall.
But duty whispers louder, cold and clear,
A constant drumbeat in my longing ear.
The moon, a silent witness to our plight,
Reflects the longing in the lonely night.
We paint our dreams on canvases of hope,
Knowing daybreak shatters when we wake to cope.
Forbidden fruit, a taste both sweet and wrong.
A melody forbidden, yet a song we've sung.
Though miles may separate, hearts forever bind,
A love we must deny, yet leave it undefined.
Your voice, a solace in the night,
A stolen moonbeam, warm and bright.
Your words, a promise, bittersweet,
A love unspoken, can't retreat.
But shadows linger, whispers rise,
Of truths untold, and tearful sighs.
For though we yearn, and long to hold,
This love, unyielding, takes its toll.
Now we must wait, with heavy hearts,
For paths to change, for life to restart.
And pray that someday, stars align,
And this forbidden love, can finally shine.
So hold this secret close, a fire in the snow,
A love unspoken, where forbidden emotions flow.
And though we walk alone, beneath the selfsame sky,
Our hearts will echo, a love that cannot die.

Houseboats vs. Luxury Liners: Choosing the Best Goan Boating Experience
Goa, a haven of relaxation in the sun located on the western coast of India, entices visitors with its azure waters and boundless sky. But the question is, is it better to sail the blue waters on a luxurious liner or raise anchor on a rustic houseboat to experience its magic? Both have unique charms and promise an amazing experience, but which is better when it comes to boating in Goa vs. Goa yachts? Hene it depends on your goals, budget, and preferred pace. So read the following article to know more to pick the best for yourself.Â
Houseboats: Peace Upon the Water
Imagine waking up to the gentle lapping of waves against your wooden window, a soft breeze weaving through swaying palm trees. Houseboats offer a slow, immersive experience. These charming vessels, often converted traditional barges, hug the coastline, offering intimate glimpses into fishing villages and hidden coves. Life slows down â meals are savoured on open decks, the sun paints fiery sunsets on the horizon, and nights are serenaded by the whispers of the sea. They're ideal for budget-conscious travellers seeking a peaceful escape, an unplugged detox, or a romantic interlude away from the bustle.
Luxury Liners: Opulence Meets Adventure
For those who crave indulgence and exhilarating speed, luxury liners paint a different picture. Picture yourself basking on sun decks by infinity pools, pampered in opulent spas, and relishing gourmet meals in Michelin-worthy restaurants. These floating palaces skim across the horizon, offering island-hopping adventures, adrenaline-pumping water sports, and themed parties under starlit skies. They're a playground for the adventurous, the social butterflies, and those who seek a taste of unparalleled luxury amidst the sea's embrace.
Choosing Your Compass
Ultimately, the choice between a houseboat and a luxury liner comes down to your personal preferences:
Budget: Houseboats are undoubtedly the more affordable option, often offering all-inclusive packages with meals and activities. Luxury liners come with a hefty price tag, but the cost usually covers accommodation, meals, entertainment, and a plethora of onboard amenities.
Desired pace: Houseboats are for those who embrace slow living, enjoying the journey as much as the destination. Luxury liners cater to a faster pace, with packed schedules and a constant flurry of activity.
Travel style: Seek seclusion and serenity. A houseboat awaits. Crave excitement, social interaction, and luxurious pampering? A luxury liner will set your heart racing.
Outside of the Ship
Remember, your boating in Goa experience extends beyond the vessel itself. Consider the additional factors:
Itinerary: Houseboats tend to stick closer to the coastline, offering intimate glimpses of coastal villages and hidden coves. Luxury liners venture further out, island hopping and exploring different parts of the Goan archipelago.
Activities: Houseboats typically offer on-board fishing, kayaking, and simple water sports. Luxury liners boast a kaleidoscope of options, from jet skiing and scuba diving to onboard casinos and live entertainment.
Ambience: Houseboats exude a rustic charm and a sense of tranquillity. Luxury liners pulsate with energy, offering a vibrant and social atmosphere.
ConclusionÂ
Goa's waters therefore hold an experience waiting to be discovered, whether you're looking for a luxurious playground on the waves or a peaceful getaway aboard a wooden haven. Select your vessel carefully, set your compass, and get ready to set out on an amazing voyage where the sea holds the secret to memories that will shimmer like sunsets in Goa forever. Also, make sure you compare the yacht in Goa price to boating in Goa.

Indigo Print Kurti: The Vintage Charm Every Closet Needs!
In the vast and vibrant tapestry of Indian fashion, few elements stand out as timelessly and ubiquitously as the indigo print kurti. With its rich hue and age-old printing techniques, the indigo kurti encapsulates a tale that has traversed centuries and regions. But what makes it the vintage charm that every contemporary closet craves for?
The Legacy of Indigo
A Hue Born from Nature
Before we delve into the kurti itself, let's take a moment to appreciate the color that gives it its unique identity - indigo. Derived from the plant Indigofera tinctoria, indigo dye has been an integral part of Indian textile history for over 5,000 years. The deep blue dye, reminiscent of starlit skies, has found favor not just in India, but globally, from Ancient Egypt to Europe.
The Timeless Technique
Indigo printing is an art form that has been passed down through generations. The traditional process of dyeing is a meticulous one, involving fermentation, sun-drying, and multiple dips to achieve the desired intensity. It's this very process that lends each indigo print kurti its distinctive charm, making every piece a unique artwork.
The Kurti: A Canvas for Creativity
Simple Yet Versatile
At its heart, a kurti is a simple tunic, but its simplicity is its biggest strength. The basic canvas lends itself to a plethora of designs, cuts, and embellishments. When adorned with indigo prints, the kurti becomes a statement piece â a blend of traditional art with contemporary fashion.
Patterns and Motifs
The indigo print kurti often showcases traditional motifs, which may be floral, geometric, or abstract. These designs often hold symbolic meanings. For instance, a common motif might be the 'tree of life', symbolizing growth and prosperity.
Why Every Closet Needs an Indigo Print Kurti
Trans-seasonal Appeal
One of the significant advantages of the indigo print kurti is its adaptability to all seasons. Its cool blue tones are refreshing in summer, while its dark shades are apt for the colder months. Pair it with palazzos for a breezy summer look, or layer it with a woolen shawl in winter â the indigo kurti has you covered.
Versatile Styling Options
Whether you're heading to work, a casual day out, or an evening gathering, the indigo kurti can be styled to suit the occasion. Wear it with jhumkas and bangles for a traditional look or team it with statement earrings and heels for a more modern approach.
Sustainability Matters
Given the growing emphasis on sustainable fashion, the organic indigo dyeing process is a boon. Owning an indigo print kurti not only means having a stylish piece in your wardrobe but also one that is environmentally conscious.
Conclusion: A Timeless Addition
In the ever-evolving world of fashion, where trends come and go with the blink of an eye, the indigo print kurti stands steadfast, a testament to India's rich textile legacy. It's not just a garment; it's a piece of history, an artwork, and a style statement all rolled into one.
If your wardrobe hasn't been graced by its charm yet, it's high time to make space for this vintage marvel. The indigo print kurti isnât just a fleeting trend; itâs a timeless allure that promises to stay relevant and revered for years to come.

Eternity's Embrace
